Groynes Planting Days

Dates: Saturday 31 July and Sunday 29 August

Time: 10am to midday

Details: Come join us for a community planting day at The Groynes, along the Otukaikino River margin. The Otukaikino River is spring-fed, and provides valuable habitat for fish and other wildlife. We are planting along the banks in these areas to enhance biodiversity, stabilise from flooding, and help keep the waterway clean. Bring a pair of gloves and your enthusiasm!

Location: The Groynes - main car park, before heading through to the dog park.

Join Christchurch City Council Rangers for community planting and clean ups around our waterways.
