What to bring

Students Strike 4 Climate Change @ the Styx

Join the movement and support our youth leaders by coming along to plant alongside the Pūharakekenui-Styx River.

Glove-up and dig-in to plant this ecological site supporting the vision of the Styx Living Laboratory Trust 

Date: Sunday 26 July

Time: 11am to 1pm on site. Transport from city to be confirmed, leaving at 10.30am.

There is a 2-minute walk down the track to the planting site.

  • Dress for cool and wet conditions.
  • Bring your favourite gardening gloves and gumboots.
  • Bring your own water bottle and lunch. Hot vege soup and hot chocolate will be provided.

Some spades and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
